Bookmarked Recipe: Broccoli Cheddar Soup (KZCAKES)

Hi everyone! Today’s bookmarked recipe is the broccoli cheddar soup from KZCAKES, posted back in Vegan MoFo 2012. I halved the recipe, and it turned out great! My only change was to use toasted white bread for the croutons instead of pumpernickel.

Here’s Cringer…

Peace. :)

  2. Broccoli and cheddar soup is such a great combination. I often will sub in different bread when things call for pumpernickel, it is really hard to find here. So I just use whatever I have around.

And yeah, I just used the bread I had gotten for another recipe, haha!

  4. I love a good vegan broccoli and cheddar soup. It's just the most perfect thing for when the weather gets colder. Which I hope doesn't happen for a while yet...

  5. I agree, that soup looks perfect for colder days especially. I used to love croutons too, it's been so long since I made them!
Does Cringer like belly rubs? That pose looks like it could be either an invitation or a trap, haha.

    1. Thanks, Bonnie; the croutons were definitely a great addition to the soup!
And, no, Cringer doesn't like belly rubs (the other two will tolerate them); she likes to sprawl out like that and relax, but it's not an invitation, haha! :)
