Elementary, My Dear Vegan: Strawberry Smoothie

Hi everyone! Today’s “Elementary, My Dear Vegan” is the strawberry smoothie that Watson makes for herself at the beginning of S1E7 (“One Way to Get Off”). Later in the episode, after visiting Holmes’ old rehab center, she gives him the letters from Irene that he’d left behind…

Watson: I just thought you might want these. (holds out letters to Holmes)
Holmes: Indeed, I do. (takes letters) Thank you, Watson. (goes to blender, shoves the letters in with the remaining smoothie, and starts blending)
Watson: Hey, what are you doing?
Holmes: I left those at Hemdale because I didn’t want them.
Watson: I don’t understand, aren’t those important?
Holmes: Remember your promise: No further discussion of this matter until I bring it up.
Watson: Fine. Fine.

For my smoothie, I blended together 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1 cup unsweetened soy milk, and 1 frozen banana. I’m still not much of a smoothie person, but it worked, haha!

Yesterday I came into the kitchen to find Daisy and Cringer sitting at the table like this…
