Vegan Treats, SuTao, and Other Good Eats!
Hi everyone! On Tuesday, a friend made a trip to Vegan Treats and dropped off this raspberry white chocolate cheesecake for me on the way back; it was such a lovely surprise!
I made some peanut butter, broccoli, and rice burritos during the week...
Another snacky plate...
More chicken noodle soup...
And takeout from SuTao Cafe! I got beef with broccoli and brown rice, as well as veggie shrimp toast and fried wontons...
Here's a close up of a sleepy Rogue...
Peace. :)

Chicken Noodle Soup, Hummus, and SuTao Cafe Takeout
Hi everyone! I made a big batch of chicken noodle soup this week, using soy curls; it was quite delicious!
I also tried this new hummus, which was good with pretzels...
And I finally did another takeout order from SuTao Cafe! I got vegetable fried rice, veggie shrimp toast, veggie chicken, and wonton soup. Also spring rolls, but I forgot to take a pic before finishing those off!
Rogue insisted on some quality cuddle time this week, pinning me down with her cuteness...
Peace. :)

Nature Pics from a Hike!
Hi everyone! My food this week has been more of the same; I kept things simple with a mix of leftovers and quick meals. I didn't bother to take any food pics except for this one of some SuTao leftovers (vegetable fried rice with lots of broccoli and veggie chicken)...
By now I have a pretty good understanding of how my brain works with regards to anxiety, so I made the executive decision to stay off social media for a solid five days (Tuesday to Saturday). Most of last week was spent helping at the pantry, hanging out with Zach and the kitties, watching nature documentaries and She-Ra, and getting a ton of reading done. And yesterday, we took a hike with Zach's family in Evansburg State Park, so here are some pictures to enjoy!
Daisy says hello!

Easy Meals Continue!
Hi everyone! It's been another week of simple -- but delicious -- meals! First up is a Mac & Chao bowl with tater tots and pole beans from my garden!
And then we have a Gardein black bean burger on a multigrain roll with ketchup, pickles, and a slice of Chao, plus some more tater tots on the side!
And finally, we got takeout from SuTao Cafe for dinner on Friday, and I finished up the leftovers for my lunch today -- vegetable fried rice with lemon chicken, plus the last of the vegan egg rolls from Wegmans!
A pretty flower...
Another harvest...
And a sleepy Cringer...
Peace. :)

Fall is Here!
And my harvest that afternoon…
Also this week, I made chicken noodle orzo, which was yummy…
And little peanut butter rice burritos since they’d given me the taco size tortillas in my KWF grocery order instead of the burrito size, lol!

Last night we got takeout from SuTao Cafe for dinner; I got vegetable fried rice with lemon chicken, and it was so, so good! I’m looking forward to the leftovers today!
And for breakfast this morning, we tried these pumpkin spice waffles; they were a nice seasonal treat!
I haven’t done much sketching for a while, but in between taking notes during a work call Thursday afternoon, I managed to sneak some sketches in…
And Daisy just keeps bringing the cuteness; here’s another meditation snuggle…
Peace. :)
P.S. The-Student-Turned-Doctor saved the day and helped me get back to Legacy Blogger after my last post was a mess with the new Blogger! Hooray!

SuTao Takeout and More Easy Meals!

| My vegetable fried rice and spring roll |
My leftover rice (plus Boca chick’n) was an easy packed lunch on Monday…
This week, I tried two of the frozen pot pies that Zach had found at Wegmans. They were both good, but I preferred the chik’n veggie…
I finally got around to enjoying the lemon raspberry cheesecake I’d gotten from our last trip to Vegan Treats; it was so good!
I also tried this soup, which was simple but really nice; I’ll be ordering it again from Firefly Cafe and Outpost…
Random, but this mix of end-of-the-bag chips (blue corn tortilla and Doritos spicy sweet chili) made me think of Halloween (also, how is it September already?)…
I tried this vegan mac & cheese that my mom had gotten for me; I had it with green beans and coconut bacon and it was delicious!
And I finally had the Gardein chick’n noodl’ soup; it was great, even better than the chick’n & rice soup I’d tried first! So, that’s another thing I’ll be ordering from the outpost again!
In garden news, I’ve been harvesting a ton of pole beans...
And here is yet another picture of Daisy joining me to meditate; she got herself settled like this and then just hung out on my lap…
Peace. :)
