Bookmarked Recipe: Opa’s Vegan S.O.S. (House Vegan)

Hi everyone! I bookmarked this recipe – Opa’s Vegan S.O.S. from House Vegan – back in Vegan MoFo 2015; it might not be the most photogenic meal, but it comes together easily and it’s delicious!

Bonus food: I visited my sister Alena today; we made a batch of the bacon-topped mac uncheese so she could try it, and we also finished off the leftover caramel apple rolls…

Here’s Leela…

Peace. :)

  2. meaty breakfast gravies are totally my jam now that I am vegan, and wouldn't have been when I still ate meat! That S.O.S sounds like a great savoury way to start the day

    1. I actually haven't tried it for breakfast yet (I had it for dinner when I made it), but I'm sure it would be great since that's when it's generally served! :)

  5. I had to look up what SOS means! Don't think we really have an equivalent, we'd probably just call it 'on toast' which does not sound as cool. You are picking some great recipes. I might have to have a go at those caramel apple rolls.

  7. I think we would refer to SOS as 'savoury mince on toast', which doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

Mac & Cheese and scrolls sounds like a perfect meal.
