Bookmarked Recipe: PB&J Overnight Oats (Go Vegga)

Hi everyone! Last night I prepared the PB&J overnight oats from Go Vegga (Vegan MoFo 2015), so I got to enjoy a fun new breakfast this morning! I still prefer warm oatmeal, but I certainly see the appeal of overnight oats, especially when you include peanut butter!

Here’s a sleepy Daisy in the cat tower…

Peace. :)

  1. Have you had hot PBJ oatmeal? It's so nice! Just put a dollop of peanut butter and a dollop of jelly on top. It melts into the oatmeal. SO GOOD.

  3. Yes, finally someone who agrees! Why would anyone want cold oatmeal?!

    1. Overnight oats has the convenience factor, but I prefer taking the time for warm oatmeal! :)

  4. I also prefer cooked oatmeal, but I do think overnight oats are OK in the summer if it's too hot to eat anything warm. I love the PB&J combo in warm oatmeal too! Sleepy Daisy looks so cute <3

    1. Thanks, Bonnie! And good point about having the overnight oats in summertime; now that it's getting cooler, I'm so focused on warm foods! :)

  5. I like both overnight oats and hot oats. Coming into summer here, hot cereals are just not what I want. But I love overnight oats cold from the fridge. I also like that you make them in advance, so that they are ready to go in the morning. But I can definitely understand how there could be texture issues for some people.
