Cheddar Cheesy Garlic Biscuits

Hello everyone! Today I made the cheddar cheesy garlic biscuits from Vegan daemon. They were so good; Zach loved them, too! This is definitely a recipe I will make again; it's so simple & delicious!

Hillary's GoFundMe goal has almost been reached; thank you to everyone who has donated and spread the word! She's been posting updates on her blog; yesterday she was able to re-adopt most of her cats from the shelter!

Peace. :)

Halfway There: GoFundMe for My cat loves Daiya!

Hello everyone! Last night I made the salted triple-chip cookies from the June 2016 issue of VegNews.

Overall, it's a good recipe; the cookies are delicious! My only gripe with how the recipe is written is that it tells you to preheat the oven as the very first step, and then in the end of step 3, to chill the dough for 30 minutes! It's a bit silly to have the oven on for that long when it's not being used, especially in the summer, so I only started the oven when I took the dough out of the fridge.

In awesome news, Hillary's GoFundMe has already hit the halfway point! Woo-hoo! :D Please keep spreading the word, and be sure to donate if you can! And check out her blog if you haven't already; she's been introducing readers to each of her cats, and they're all so sweet! So far, we've met Stevie, Afro, and Etta!

Peace. :)

GoFundMe for My cat loves Daiya!

Hello everyone! Tonight I made General Tso's cauliflower for dinner again, keeping the amazing person behind My cat loves Daiya! in my mind. Her blog is where I first heard of this incredible recipe, and for that I am forever grateful because it is absolutely delicious!

She's going through some difficult times right now, so she's started a GoFundMe campaign; if you can donate, please do; if you can help spread the word, that's wonderful, too!
Thanks for reading, and thanks for caring!
Peace. :)

Blueberry Popsicles

Hello everyone! I'm keeping cool this week with the blueberry and granola breakfast popsicles from One Green Planet.

They're good -- my favorite part is the whole blueberries, of course! -- but if I make them again, I think I'll either try to blend the granola in with the other ingredients, or distribute it among the popsicle molds at the end because most of it just sank to the bottom of the bowl and didn't pour out before I reached the fill lines. (I poured the extra popsicle mixture into a leftovers container and froze that, too, so that one will be very granola-y, haha!)

Here's a photoset of Leela sitting on the computer and checking out the view from my desk...

Peace. :)

Marbled Banana Bread

Hi everyone! This week I took a break from popsicle recipes to make the marbled banana bread from Isa Does It, and it was amazing! I still love the best banana bread recipe from VegWeb, but this is definitely a step up. While a little bit messier and more involved, it's certainly worth it for a fun and fancy banana bread.

These three goobers decided to keep me company in the kitchen...

Peace. :)

Orange Creamsicles

Hi everyone! I finally made orange creamsicles, hooray! This recipe from My Darling Vegan was super simple & delicious. I've already had three of the pops so far this week; they're really good!

I'll definitely make them again this summer, but first I want to try out a few more recipes; these are next on my list: Blueberry and Granola Breakfast Popsicles and Fresh Fruit Lemonade Pops.

Here is a photoset called “Sometimes Daisy Sits Funny” (I caught her mid-grooming haha)...

Peace. :)
