The Animals!

Hello everyone! Today's prompt is "Honor a human or non human animal who inspires your veganism." For me, veganism will always be about the animals, and visiting sanctuaries is my favorite way to connect with the lucky ones who are no longer exploited by humans. Simply being in their presence is a re-charging experience, and I treasure being able to visit such incredible individuals and learn their stories. What's a MoFo post without a food pic, so here's the pizza bagels I had for dinner tonight (I used a mix of Daiya cheddar and Follow Your Heart mozzarella).

Summer Sketches

So I realize I haven't posted any sketches on here in a while, but I've sketched daily for the months of June, July, and August, and I'm happy to see the progress I've made.

In June, I was doing sketches with an ultra fine point sharpie...

In July, I continued sketching and started adding color with pastels...

By the end of July, I'd started using a fine point sharpie...

Cuteness during Vegan MoFo

Hello on the 28th day of the Vegan Month of Food! These last three days will consist of wrap-ups; today I've compiled a list of some of my favorite Vegan MoFo posts with cute animal photos. But first, I want to quickly post a meal that I threw together last night for dinner. 

I wanted to use some stuff up, so the ingredients were as follows: What remained of the creamy mushroom soup (1/2 cup?), water (1 cup?), miso, broken fettuccine, and some frozen broccoli. The soup turned out surprisingly well for me not bothering to measure. (Not pictured: I also had two strips of Beyond Meat chicken, which I dunked in ketchup.) 

And another similar version that I had for dinner tonight: Miso with noodles, broccoli, and Gardein beefless tips.
