Hi everyone! Today I made the golden gravy from VeggieSue’s Veggie Adventures (Vegan MoFo 2014); it was super simple to prepare, and tasty, too! I had it over mashed potatoes with a bit of broccoli and another toasted Ruben.
Cringer gave my plate an inquisitive sniff before I sat down to eat.
Peace. :)
You know, I'm not sure I've met a mashed potato or a gravy I DIDN'T like. I feel a bit sorry for Cringer, who I assume did not get to taste it.
ReplyDeleteYou really can't go wrong with mashed potatoes & gravy! Cringer actually wasn't interested beyond a sniff, so more for me, hehe! :D
DeleteThat gravy looks super easy!
ReplyDeletePoor Cringer, did she get even a lick?
It was definitely the easiest gravy I've made so far! She didn't go for it -- so much for the poor starving kitty act she likes to put on, haha! :D
DeleteI need to try that gravy! I definitely don't have the gravy making gift!
ReplyDeleteIt looks Cringer approved!
It was super simple & so good, definitely give it a try! Yeah, Cringer loves to sniff my food before I eat, but it's always just curiosity; she's never tried anything yet, haha! :D
DeleteMmm... I love a thin gravy. I love mushroom gravy, but sometimes you don't want the mushroom lumps!
ReplyDeleteIt was a perfect thin gravy; I'd gotten so used to the thicker mushroom gravies I was making that I forgot how nice a thinner gravy can be! :)
DeleteWhoa, what a perfect plate of comfort food! I definitely need to try that gravy, it looks incredible. That picture of Cringer is too much, how adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely some great comfort food! Cringer's been so interested in my cooking this Vegan MoFo! :)
