Chocolate Mint Goodness

Hello everyone! The delicious vegan goodies I've enjoyed recently have been lovely combinations of chocolate & mint. The first was the double fudge peppermint brownie from Vegan Treats, which was absolutely incredible! 

Next were the chocolate peppermint drops from Bridge Street Chocolates! I've been pacing myself with these because they are so good! 

And finally, I ordered Sjaaks' Dark Chocolate Mint Mills from Vegan Essentials, so I'm looking forward to having them soon!

Neat's Breakfast Mix

Hello everyone! This week I tried Neat's Breakfast Mix, using it to make patties, which I had with leftover roasted potatoes, and then with carrots & vegan ranch dressing. 

The patties tasted alright with some ketchup, but I wasn't really a fan. I think I just need to try to make my own from scratch sometime! 

Since it's a short post, here are some pics of sleepy kitties Leela, Buttons, and Cringer...

Firebird Festival and Amy's Butternut Squash Soup

Hello everyone! Just a quick post tonight since we just got back from the Firebird Festival! I took lots of pictures (and videos), so I'm looking forward to sorting through them all tomorrow; here are a few... 

So, as for a new food, earlier this week, I tried out Amy's butternut squash soup – it was pretty good, the mix of spices was perfect, but the soup itself was a bit thinner than I would have liked.
