Tofu in Spicy Peanut Sauce (Modern Martha)

Hi everyone! This week I visited my sister and we tried a new recipe – the tofu in spicy peanut sauce from Modern Martha. It turned out really well; the only change we made was to decrease the amount of sriracha to 1 teaspoon. We had it with white rice and mixed veggies, and it was delicious! So delicious, in fact, that I’ve already made it again!

I’ve also tried some new popsicles recently; they were both really good, but between the two, I preferred the salted caramel one…

I did more vegetable sketches this week…

Here’s Leela in one of her favorite summer nap spots – behind the door in the bathroom. I accidentally woke her up by taking her picture; whoops!

Peace. :)

  2. I've never seen the orange popsicles, but would definitely try them if I did find them. The salted caramel ice cream bars are dangerously good--I had to have a talk with myself about them because I started eating too many of them.

The tofu looks great, too. I'm addicted to tofu, too, but that's not really a problem.

    Love your sketches!

    1. Thanks, Sarah! Yeah, the Daiya ones look really good! Sketching the vegetables is reminding me of ones I need to cook with more -- like the bok choy! :)

    1. You really can't go wrong with tofu and peanut butter!
Thanks, Hillary! I have a couple Brussels sprouts recipes I've been waiting to try; I should get on that! :)

  6. Tofu in peanut sauce = yum. I would have to swap out the siracha as it's too hot for me and my chilli intolerance but I can get aware with sweet chilli sauce.

    1. Sounds like the sweet chili sauce would be a good substitution! :)
