Hi everyone! I’ve got lots of good food for today’s post! On Saturday I went with a friend to South Philadelphia Tap Room for brunch; I ordered the vegan chicken & French toast!
After that, we stopped at V Marks the Shop, and I picked up some goodies – not pictured are more pierogies of course! The mac & cheese was amazing (I’ll definitely get it again), and the ramen was my favorite from this brand so far. I haven’t gotten to try the cauliflower sauce yet, but I’m looking forward to it!
On Sunday, Zach and I went to dinner at Uno Pizzeria with a couple friends from D&D; I got the vegan cheese pizza, which was simple but good!
And on Saturday, Zach picked up some Vegan Treats for us to share, so we’ve been enjoying these two cakes this week!
Yesterday I finally made a trip to Aldi; I got some of my usual favorites…
And also found some new goodies that I’m excited to try!
I did some batch cooking yesterday, so I have plenty of leftovers for the rest of this week. I made a butternut squash risotto, served with Aldi vegan meatballs…
And mashed potatoes and Gardein turk’y with gravy…
Here is a funny picture of Daisy, who woke up and suddenly realized that Cringer was snuggling with her…
Peace. :)

Some Goodies, Firebird, and Easy Meals
Hi everyone; I’m doing a photo post today. I’m still missing Leela, and I didn’t get around to trying a new recipe this week.
Here’s Rogue being a cutie, sniffing the lamp on my desk…
Peace…

Some Yummy Goodies Plus Chickpea Pancakes
Hi everyone! I reached 28,000 words yesterday for NaNoWriMo, so I’m more than halfway there, woohoo! On Saturday I made the pumpkin rolls I’d gotten from Trader Joe’s and they were so good!
On Sunday some friends and I went to V Marks the Shop; it was my first time there and it’s such a nice little store with so many amazing vegan products. When I saw the pierogies, I knew I needed to get a box (and another for my sister). I also grabbed some Thai peanut jerky and pumpkin Dandies for myself.
This week I made the savory chickpea pancakes from Amber Eats Veg Presents: This Vegan Lyfe. They were delicious – I had some with ketchup and the leftovers with smashed avocado, yum!
And just for fun, I tried to make a gluten- and oil-free version of my mushroom gravy, and it turned out pretty good. I still need to make a few adjustments with the spices, but once I’ve perfected the recipe, I’ll be sure to share it!
Here’s a close-up of a cute cuddly Cringer…
And here’s Leela testing out a different blanket while I wash the one that’s her favorite to sleep on; she seems skeptical so far, lol!
Peace. :)
