Good Food, More Nature Pics, and a Kitten!

Hi everyone! Let's get started with the food, shall we? One of my favorite easy lunches when I get home from my shifts at the pantry is a mac & Chao bowl with green beans and tater tots, plus a salad...

My fun dinners this week were burritos with rice, black beans, guac, and crushed Doritos (spicy sweet chili)...

I got this cream cheese for Zach, who ended up not being a fan of it, so I'm finishing it off. Even though I don't consider myself much of a cream cheese person, this is actually pretty good!

And this everything bagel seasoning hummus was a neat treat...

Leftover Gardein chicken fried rice with a Wegmans vegan eggroll...

And more chicken noodles, with soy curls!

And some nature pics from Norristown Farm Park; this walk was a nice way to catch up with a friend I hadn't seen since the beginning of the year......

And as promised, a kitten! Yesterday I got to meet Captain Fluffy Pants, who was rescued by a friend and is such an adorable little sweetheart, though still getting used to people.

And to wrap up today's post, here are the two extremes of Rogue -- super-spinny ball of energy...

And melt-on-your-lap cat...

Peace. :)

Cheesy Rice and More Good Food!

Hi everyone! Hope you're doing well! Something new I tried this week was Annie's vegan cheesy rice, which made for a nice lunch and then some leftovers!

Another good meal was Gardein fishless filets with oven fries and pickles!

More pumpkin bread, this time half buckwheat flour, half oat flour (I'm trying to use up some of my random flour collection)...

Some delicious chicken noodle soup with barely any broth, so let's just call it chicken noodles lol...

And some salad with pepperoni bits!

A sunset pic from after kayaking on Sunday...

And Cringer says she has the comfiest pillow in all the world, thanks to Daisy!

Peace. :)

Nature Pics from a Hike!

Hi everyone! My food this week has been more of the same; I kept things simple with a mix of leftovers and quick meals. I didn't bother to take any food pics except for this one of some SuTao leftovers (vegetable fried rice with lots of broccoli and veggie chicken)...

By now I have a pretty good understanding of how my brain works with regards to anxiety, so I made the executive decision to stay off social media for a solid five days (Tuesday to Saturday). Most of last week was spent helping at the pantry, hanging out with Zach and the kitties, watching nature documentaries and She-Ra, and getting a ton of reading done. And yesterday, we took a hike with Zach's family in Evansburg State Park, so here are some pictures to enjoy!

Daisy says hello!

Peace. :)
